In July 2012, the investor owned utilities filed applications for the 2013-2014 transition period requesting over $2 billion in funding for energy efficiency programs. The CPUC also called for new financing pilots (to be developed by a statewide financing consultant under contract to SoCalGas) and invited local governments to submit proposals for regional energy networks (RENs), which were included in the Proposed Decision released in early October.

This webinar will provide an overview of the final decision (expected in November 2012) and the new programs that will support local energy efficiency efforts during the 2013- 2014 transition period. Speakers will address local government partnerships, Statewide financing pilots, the Bay Area REN and the Southern California REN.
